As a Fire Captain and Paramedic, I see real-world emergencies up close on a regular basis. That experience is the backbone of my post-apocalyptic writing, where I trade real-world crisis response for fictional scenarios about what happens when people are left entirely on their own.
I write grounded, realistic survival fiction driven by the actual mechanics of self-reliance. Away from the station, I live in Oregon with my wife and two boys on a ten-acre property that keeps us busy.
