I live on a six acre farm, where I grow food following the permaculture method, and superfood crops such as moringa trees, goji berries, stevia, and quinoa, on a small scale. I am a prepper at heart and my home has solar power. Outside I have an outdoor kitchen with a 110 year old wood burning stove and all the kitchen equipment is hand driven, nothing is connected to the grid. I have used my experiences with being off the grid, in my writing to make my characters believable. If I can't do it, neither should my characters.

I love science fiction and historical romances. My favorite sci fi author is Anne McCaffrey, especially her Dragons of Pern Series. I have read the whole series three times.

A day in a prepper's life

The outdoor kitchen is just about finished. Today I am getting a quote to have the flu for the stove installed. Then all that will need to be done is the two doors to weather proof the kitchen.
