Being only mid-March now, I have given little if any thought to how to celebrate my April Fool's birthday this year. But the celebration will certainly include something out of the ordinary.

My writing has taken a back seat to our recent move from Austin to Old Town Scottsdale. I have a second book of nonfiction underway, with no clear publication date yet.

I hope my memoir will be a satisfying birthday present! Let me know either way. And happy April Fool's Birthday to you! (less)

"In his second book, Meanderings and Mullings, Earl Russell ponders the world and his place in it with a mixture of curiosity, lightheartedness, and challenge to tradition. His observations range from the pros and cons of baldness––a landing strip for" Read more of this review »

"Rising to the Occasion

Great story that stirs us to consider the pains and beauty in our own lives, always conditioned by the challenges. We just need to rise to the occasion, as this book teaches.

Cold Turkey at Nine by Earl B. Russell
