Creator of Strange Lands, Human Chimaera, Black Earth, the Beautiful-Grotesque, Folk Horror Revival, Urban Wyrd Review & other peculiar things.

Drawn mainly to the worlds of myth, folklore, symbolism, decadence, curiosa, anomaly, dark romanticism and otherworldly experience, and fascinated both by the beautiful and the grotesque and the twilight threshold consciousness where these boundaries blur. The mist-gates, edges and liminal zones where nature borders supernature and daydreams and nightmares cross paths are of great inspiration.

“My bed is an island in an ocean of books”
Andy Paciorek

“!The true magick of art is the discovery of the sublime within the mundane, the beautiful within the grotesque, the light within the darkness and all those reversed.!”
Andy Paciorek

“There is Art inthe fields and forests,
Poetry on the roads.”
Andy Paciorek

“We are what we imagine. Our very existence consists in our imagination of ourselves. Our best destiny is to imagine, at least, completely, who and what, and that we are. The greatest tragedy that can befall us is to go unimagined.”
N. Scott Momaday

“I have always longed to be part of the outward life, to be out there at the edge of things, to let the human taint wash away in emptiness and silence as the fox sloughs his smell into the cold unworldliness of water; to return to town a stranger. Wandering flushes a glory that fades with arrival.”
J.A. Baker, The Peregrine

“We are the subjects, and so is everything around us, of all manner of subtle and inexplicable influences: and if our ancestors attached too much importance to these ill-understood arcana of the night-side of nature, we have attached too little.”
Catherine Crowe, The Night Side of Nature

“My bed is an island in an ocean of books”

“There was something awesome in the thought of the solitary mortal standing by the open window and summoning in from the gloom outside the spirits of the nether world.”
Arthur Conan Doyle
