I was born and raised in the Midwest where many of my peers didn't believe or didn't admit there were mysterious things out in the ether. Even when I was young, I believed in the Paranormal and some of my friends would tease me for my "sixth sense", which on a few memorable occasions they would just look at me when I would say "told you so."

When I began truly writing, most of it was the anguished poetry of a teen going through the trials associated with that period of life. This continued through my early adulthood.

I stopped writing for many years because life marched on: significant other, college, children, work...all those things that take more time than you ever thought.
