Hi! Thanks for visiting me on Goodreads! Here's a little bit about me...

I am the author of five novels about ambitious women: ANNA BRIGHT IS HIDING SOMETHING, WE CAME HERE TO SHINE, THE SUBWAY GIRLS, THE BALANCE PROJECT, and ON GRACE. My writing has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, HuffPost, PopSugar, Writer’s Digest, Harper's Bazaar, and Glamour. I'm also a screenwriter currently shopping my first pilot and feature-length screenplay. A mother of three grown sons, I was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and now live with my husband in Charlotte, NC. It was very important to me that images of the fair were included at the front of the book to orient the reader and to give a sense of place, which would help facilitate the reading of the book.
