Bernard Assaf is a fiction dabbler (in other words, he enjoys creative writing during his sparse leisure time) and occasional editor of role-playing game items and related fiction. His career and livelihood have been tied to the software development industry since his high school days, but his hobbies have been inexorably tied to the science fiction and fantasy genres for even longer.

Slowly, I put the book down and gulped nervously, eyes wide open, because I remembered: the rest of my family was out at the movies.(less)

19 Book series I want to finish

I took a look at my "already read" list today. Turns out I'm in the "middle" of more series than I realized. Perhaps I should try to finish some of them. I order them below by "longest amount of time since I read one in the series" to "shortest." Perhaps I'll re-engage some. Perhaps I won't. I'm not counting series where I read only 1 of and don't want to finish it.

David is 90% done with Marvel's Wastelanders: Yeah, we all knew he'd end up with it. Ok, one more ep to get your bro back, Val. Let's get this over with.
David
David is 99% done with Marvel's Wastelanders: Welp, it had to end this way. Valeria's actor Rebecca Naomi Jones really nails the pathos, though; I was quite choked up. But overall the ending was too tidy, too saccharine, and honestly, too absurd, even for Marvel.
David
David is 40% done with Marvel's Wastelanders: Ok, this is just getting absurd.
Marvel's Wastelanders by Nick Bernardone
" Just finished. Yikes, agree. It just… didn’t make sense. It’s like they realized, “we only have 1 episode left. Any idea how to end it?” Oof. "
