I really enjoyed this book and its takedown of the publishing industry, the exploration of who has a voice and writers’ paranoia. But I felt the plot lost its way towards the end

I absolutely loved this book whose evocations resonated strongly with me. It’s so sad but a novel for all boomers.

I loved the concept and structure of this book, but felt that there wasn’t really a spark between Marnie and Michael despite being told how funny she was. I’m afraid I found her quite annoying
