Manuel Gago (Palmeira, Ribeira, 1976) é vilego, da Pobra do Caramiñal. Dirixe «culturagalega.gal», a plataforma de divulgación do Consello da Cultura Galega, e é profesor de Comunicación na Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. Como divulgador científico e histórico, leva promovido numerosos proxectos de posta en valor do patrimonio cultural e comisariado exposicións nas cales explora a confluencia entre cultura e tecnoloxía. Ensaísta e narrador, publicou Herdeiros pola forza. Poder, patrimonio cultural e sociedade na Galicia do século XXI e os libros de ficción Vento e chuvia. Mitoloxía da antiga Gallaecia (Xerais, 2013, 2015) e O anxo negro (Xerais, 2016), O exército de fume (Xerais, 2018).
