Zelmer Wilson I would recommend reading Two Girls against the World first. It is a good introduction to the character of Bobbie Lamont.

“There was something missing in her life.”
Zelmer Wilson, Bobbie Lamont

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
Frank Herbert, Dune

Sandra,
I don't mind you saying that you're very proud of me. It means a lot to me for you to say that. You encouraged me at a time in my life when I needed it. I will always be grateful to you for that.

Sandra Kitt Hi Zelmer! I'm reading IN THE MIDDLE...clearly I'm way behind in your list of published books. Between my own work, and the sometimes unexpected crosses of daily life I'm catching up to a number of authors on my MUST READ list!
I'm impressed with your insight that when/if you suffer writer's block you take a step back, read something different or listen to music, to allow the imaginative side of your brain to chill. That's the advice I gave my students.
If at all possible find and attend writers conferences in your area, or travel to one. They can be enormously helpful, but you also meet other writers. This is one of the communities you should belong to!
If you don't mind my saying so I'm very proud of how well you done. All best regards, Sandra
