Mangoverse Book Four is nearly ready to submit to the publisher

My beta readers and I (they are both named Kate; I guess it's a requirement!) have been working very hard to get the next book ready to submit to Prizm. If they take it, Queen Shulamit and her friends will be back in 2016 with several new characters, including an older trans woman, new lesbians, and a close-up look at teenaged Shulamit's "straight girl crush", all grown up.

In the meantime, don't miss this funny comic Becca and I made, showing some of the baking mishaps Aviva and Isaac had to go through while inventing the gluten-free challah in "Ripe Figs."

I signed the Mangoverse book 4 contract last night!

Waiting to get the signed copy back before I make an official announcement, but your teaser line is...

What if the biggest threat to the kingdom you lead with your wife by your side...
....might be your straight girl crush from when you were 16?

When Ezra tries to blackmail Chef Yael about being trans, she throws him out of her restaurant and immediately reports him to the queen. But when police find Ezra stabbed to death, Queen Shulamit realizes he may have also tried to extort someone more dangerous than a feisty old lady.

Shulamit’s royal investigation leads her to an international terrorist plot to destroy her country’s economy–and worse, her first love, Crown Princess Carolina of Imbrio, may be involved. This is a love story between wives, between queen and country, and between farmers and the crops they grow.
