This usually helps me re-enter the story enough that I'll end up writing more new material. Even if I don't write much that's new, I will have improved what was already set down, so I've accomplished something. This feels better than writing nothing and reduces the anxiety. Sometimes I surprise myself and write much more than I expected to.(less)

“Inside the flower, within the very structure of its petals, my soul is an element of nature, at one with the blooming Meadow Pinx in the fields on the coast of Marnan.”

M. Larose, The Flower Eater

“Maybe some people just aren't meant to be in our lives forever. Maybe some people are just passing through. It's like some people just come through our lives to bring us something: a gift, a blessing, a lesson we need to learn. And that's why they're here. You'll have that gift forever.”
Danielle Steel, The Gift
