Debra Gordon Zaslow is a professional storyteller turned author. Her life changed forever in 1996 when she brought her 103 year-old grandmother home to live with her family. Wanting to write about that experience sent her to an MFA is writing program (Vermont College of fine Arts) and eventually to writing Bringing Bubbe Home, a Memoir of Letting Go Through Love and Death

This comes in the form of "I'm too busy, I don't feel like it, I'm not a good enough writer," etc. The best way for me to deal with it is to give myself regular times to show up to write and keep writing whether I think it's good or not, even if it's emotionally challenging.
