I live in Atlanta, Georgia, with my husband, Eric, our three-legged dog, Augie, and our one-eyed Yorkie, Punkin. I have two grown children and two granddaughters. In addition to writing, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist by trade because I love and care about people. I write for my own therapy because what I do is hard. Every day, I hear about pain and suffering, and often (and thankfully) victory over that pain. I write because it helps me express all of the pain I absorb, and I hope that in expressing that, I can connect broadly with readers all over in a very intimate way. Only two weeks left!

In two weeks, the promotion to give all proceeds of the print version of Back to Life comes to an end. The goal is still 2,500 copies (which would be about a $10,000 donation!), but that will only happen if many of you decide to purchase soon!
