New Book Coming
Wanted to let folks know, I have a new book going through the final phases of editing. This one's a military/adventure scifi based around a group of former soldiers hired to protect scientists traveling the multiverse, and the various challenges they face. Can't say much more just yet, but I'm hoping to publish sometime in Spring. Keep an eye out!

Well folks, just got my latest book back from the copy editor, so I thought I’d let you all in on what’s coming. The book is titled THE BOYS OF THE BREACH, and follows two prematurely retired Army Special Forces soldiers. They’ve been hired to provide protection and security for scientists working at a facility that explores the multiverse, opening breaches into other universes to see what’s out there and what they can learn. But with every possible eventuality existing in one parallel universe or another, they’re bound to run into danger, on a fairly regular basis. That’s where the soldiers come in. Leading a guard company of other former military and police veterans, they take on everything the multiverse can throw at them: Pissed-off sentient dinosaurs, alien critters who feed off body-horror, prehistoric bears with a grudge, interdimensional corsair slavers, wild west madmen bent on refighting the civil war, parallel versions of themselves who cheat at cards…even ex-wives they may or may not still be hung up on. They’re job is to take on them all and bring the egg-heads home safe. The multiverse may be a dangerous place, but these are dangerous people…

Chaos Quarter Update! Book 5
Hey everyone. Writing to let you all know that I have finished a first draft on a new Chaos Quarter book, the fifth in the series. Think of the crew trapped and helpless on a planet ruled by a mafia-style crime syndicate, and having to find a way to get out and get home. Plenty of editing and rewrites left to do, so I can't give a date yet, but I'm hoping for some time this summer. Keep an eye out!

She spent the first half of her life as a genetic supremacist for the monstrous Perfected Hegemony, before fleeing to the Valhallan Norse to live a normal life. But when the last of her family passed away, she threw in with Rex Vahl and the crew of the Longshot, falling in love with the cyborg crewman Jake Gaderi. Rex Vahl just wanted to go home, that’s it. He’s spent nearly a year in the Chaos Quarter, being shot at, kidnapped, tortured, and drawn into other people’s wars. He’s taken on ravaging space hordes and genetic supremacists bent on destroying every last ‘primitive’ human they can find. His ship has been shot up, his crew has been put in danger, he’s nearly lost the woman he loves, and he’s had to deal with stowaways who’ve snuck themselves onto his ship. He’s tired, stretched thin, and wants nothing more than to limp back to the Free Terran Commonwealth for a well-deserved break.
But the universe is not a kind place. After a hidden gravity well sends his battered ship off course, he finds himself ambushed, his vessel crippled by pirates he normally wouldn’t think twice about. Before he can react, he finds half of his crew captured, and the remainder stranded on a hidden world ruled by a vicious crime syndicate. These thugs make their money off slavery, and a city that’s basically a criminal version of Las Vegas, where every vice and evil can be found for a price. Worse still, it’s ruled by a vicious don that’s smart enough to know there’s more to power than brute force. Already stretched to a breaking point, Rex now finds himself vastly outnumbered, and without the usual technological edge he’s grown to rely on. The only people he can turn to for help are pacifist ideologues, who seem to think it’s more moral to be subjugated than dare use violence. If Rex tries to fight, he faces near certain defeat. If he doesn’t, good friends will be sold into slavery. He's used to fighting for people who need the help, but now he’ll be fighting out of anger and desperation, conditions he is not at all prepared for. But Rex isn’t the type to leave people behind, and he’s going to make his move, even if it means burning everything down around them…
