Son to a Green Howard, Chris came to live in Richmond, in 1988 with his family when his father was posted to Catterick Garrison. Now, at the age of 40 he is still there with a family of his own, wife Emma and two children Kerris and Dexter.

From school he left to join a fire prevention company which now operate from Gallowfields Trading Estate and has worked his way up from trainee engineer to his current position of Design/Projects Manager.

With a love of poetry Chris has had several pieces published in anthologies produced by Forward Press and United Press, along with a collaboration of poetry self-published through Amazon, along with an anthology put together for the charity Bliss.
