Angelé Wells was born in Cape Town, South Africa and, as an only child, developed a love of reading early in life. A passion for the written word, that has spanned decades, finally led to putting pen to paper and so began a new career path. At the tender age of 16, Angelé tried her hand at writing, for the first time, and the bug bit. Now she writes as often as time allows in a busy everyday life.

Angelé is married. She and her husband share a son and two fur-babies. She still lives in the city of her birth and while she loves to travel, can’t see herself living anywhere else. When she’s is not writing, she loves to spend time with family and friends, her two fur-babies, travelling and, of course, reading.

I listen to music, read someone else's work, spend time outdoors or chat to like-minded friends who can possibly offer advice or a different perspective. Sometimes, it's something as simple as re-reading what I've already done and I pick up a new thread, or maybe re-work something, for it to start flowing again. When all else fails, I shelve the project for a while and move on to something else. Eventually, a spark of inspiration will hit and I'll be off and running again.(less)

In memory of my SuperDAD :)

In my previous post I mentioned that I lost my dad last year.  November 4th was the anniversary of his passing and so this month has been a month of introspection for me.  Looking back on a lifetime of amazing memories of my dad.
There are so many wonderful memories of him to choose from, so many things he taught me, so many things we shared.  So I thought I'd share one of my all time favourite pho Read more of this blog post »
