Who am I?

I've always thought that was an interesting question. Not because I'm interesting, but how does someone sum up himself. Okay, I'll try.

I came into this world in the late 50's and went though childhood in the hippie/Iron Curtain time-period. I'm the youngest of five kids. My father served twenty-seven years in the Army, of which I am proud. During this time we moved all over the country and had two tours in Germany. While in the States we moved nearly every year. After leaving home I joined the Army and spent the bulk of that time in Germany also.

Being uprooted so frequently and traveling by car most of the time, gave me many long days to daydream. My daydreams always seemed to evolve into stories, some of which I liked enough to wo ...more

Westley was very good at bein…moreFirst in the movie "The Princess Bride" then in the book, I would have to say for a couple I like Westley and Buttercup. Westley was very good at being the straight men in several of the jokes. Plus, he was after all the Dread Pirate Roberts, and a very good one at that. Buttercup really had the lesser role but still very important. I enjoyed her comments about killer herself after the wedding. If you haven't read the book, it's an easy and enjoyable read where the author takes a lot of liberties making fun of an unabridged copy that is not real.(less)

To over come it I will something take a break for a day or two and do other types of work or find someone to talk to about my story. I do find talking with others about my story works best to over come the motivation issues. (less)
