My baby's first steps!

How often has a mother or father sat in ecstasy and watched as their child took their first steps? No my wife and don't have any little ones running around the house. However it has been said that the closest thing to childbirth a man will ever get is in the writing of a book. If that's true I just birthed my baby Delilah's Shear Delights last week after downloading her, I read her to sleep on my Kindle. Today I opened the mailbox, pulled out an envelope from Amazon. I opened it only to find my little girl had grown from an eBook into a paperback. They grow up so fast!

For cat lovers only!

As any indie author will tell you, there's no giving up the day job! The crazy thing is I run a business from home, write at home, and pretend to be the house husband of our little home. The whole point is, I had just a few seconds to clean out my cat's litter box. He wanted in to it at the precise time I went to clean it. So what does that have to do with writing you may ask. Well lets just say, my cat doesn't care about my writing, he left me with a gift, in my office chair, in front of the computer. Let's just say, nothing was written this afternoon.

A good reread!

As I have told most of my friends both in real life, and in online life, my mom passed away about a month ago. My point is simple, sometimes it is a good thing to reread a book. The first book I ever read, "Three Little Kittens" was found by my sister while she has been busy cleaning out our mother's condo. My sister gave it to me, and you would have thought it was gold. I came home and with a few tears in my eyes I reread my first book.

Never enough hours

Sunday October 20,2013. My goodness what a day it has been. As some might know, my mom passed away 5 weeks ago. My sister is doing the majority of the work, in cleaning up out our mother's condo. I want to sit down and do nothing more than read, write, and help my sister. Not nearly enough hours in a day, or week. Not enough... Next book might be a little late getting to the marketplace.
