A few times when I was writing The Slippery Slope I just couldn't find the words to keep the story going. So, I put it aside and worked on my blog which is a totally different subject matter. Another thing that has worked for me is to read. That gets my juices going most all the time.(less)

I love how you take "nothing" and turn it into "s…moreThere are so many great things about being a writer I can't possibly say what the one best thing is. I love how you take "nothing" and turn it into "something". Also, unlike real life, if you mess up while you are writing you can erase it and make it better. In life, when we mess up, our mistakes can't be erased. I do; however, try to learn from my mistakes so that I don't keep repeating the same ones over and over again.(less)
