Contrary to popular belief, Danielle was not raised by wombats in Pau Pau, New Guinea, though she did own 2 gerbils as a child. She's had work published in Fantastic Frontiers Magazine, Literary Juice, Beorh Quarterly, Cross Review, Sci-Fi Quarterly, Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, and multiple anthologies. She writes under the pseudonym "Danielle Davis," which happens to be an anagram of her real name, Danielle Davis.

Most of her time is spent worrying about the inevitable zombie apocalypse, fidgeting, and being awkward in social situations. You can find her on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, all under the handle "LiteraryEllyMay".

Maggie Stiefvater
“One moment, she was wearing clothing, and the next moment, she was wearing a bikini. Fifty percent of the world was brown skin and fifty percent was orange nylon. From the Mona Lisa smile on Orla's lips, it was clear she was pleased to finally be allowed to demonstrate her true talents.
A tiny part of Gansey's brain said: You have been staring for too long.
The larger part of his brain said: ORANGE.
Maggie Stiefvater, The Dream Thieves

“And Lukas would tell them to be good to each other, that there were only so many of them left, and that all the books and all the stars in the universe were pointless with no one to read them, no one to peer through the parting clouds for them. He”
Hugh Howey, Wool
