What Are Poker Face Cards?

When playing poker, players are dealt two cards face down. These are their ‘hole cards’ and are the start of their hands. From there they can be checked, bet or folded. After this there is a round of betting and three shared cards (the flop) are dealt face up in the middle of the table.
