Faith Against the Angels (Book 2) comes out in March!
I'm kicking off 2020 in a big way! After a solid year of work, I'm excited to announce that book two in the Travis Rail Series, Faith Against the Angels, is coming out this March! The story picks up 6 months after the first book, Faith Against the Wolves, and features some new villains and a few new surprise heroes.
After writing The Death Wish Game, it was fun to jump back into Travis Rail's adventures. I'm currently working on the third book in the series. More on that later.
Meantime, if you want to pre-order, Faith Against the Angels, I lowered the price for all of my loyal readers to $0.99 (for a limited time.)
It really has been a joy to write. I hope you enjoy reading it, and if you do, please leave a review. They are always greatly appreciated.
Much thanks & happy reading!
Jonathan
Synopsis:
"Following his last delivery, Travis retires to the mountains of Tennessee. Unfortunately, hiding from his new life as the Rift’s most wanted, the Covenant’s last transporter, and an angelic aberration proves impossible.
However, for Simon Lajudas, a wealthy and ruthless collector, Travis is an integral part in bringing his recently deceased wife back from the afterlife. He recruits a band of rogue angels known as the Amissa in pursuit of their mutually coveted treasure – the keys to Heaven.
But as Simon and the Amissa tear a path through the Rift’s storehouses in search of these keys, war breaks out, angels clash, and the promise of the afterlife reveals something darker than they ever anticipated."

Listen to The Death Wish Game
Here's the first minute from my upcoming novel, The Death Wish Game, performed by Aaron Shedlock (who narrated my previous book, Nightmares In Analog.)
The Death Wish Game is about a group of passengers on an ill-fated bus ride to Florida that awaken to find themselves duct-taped to their seats, stranded in the middle of nowhere and forced into a game of survival.
It will be available on Audible and for Amazon Kindle this October! Click on the below to hear the sample:

New Novel - The Death Wish Game
I know it's been a while since I have last posted, but I have a very valid excuse... I've been writing.
And re-writing. And editing. Working away at my upcoming novel, The Death Wish Game. It's been a labor of love since summer of 2015, and I'm excited to be in the final stages.
It's the story about a group of bus passengers on an ill=fated journey from Columbia to Miami. They awaken to find themselves duct-taped to their seats, parked in the middle of a field and told by the bus driver that they're part of a game - a real-life manhunt.
These passengers quickly learn that they're prey. And the predators? A supernatural force with a score to settle. And as this wicked game unravels, it's soon revealed that some of these passengers have motives other than just surviving.
I'm still working on the cover and hope to be posting that up soon. Hoping for a April/May 2017 release. Can't wait for you guys to read it.

Good Behavior by Blake Crouch
Hey Friends,
So I was up late last night, not writing, but reading. Completely hooked by Blake Crouch's thriller, Good Behavior. It's the story of anti-hero and thief, Letty Dobesh. Here's the synopsis pulled from Amazon:
"Fresh out of prison and fighting to keep afloat, Letty Dobesh returns to her old tricks burglarizing suites at a luxury hotel. While on the job, she overhears a man hiring a hit man to kill his wife. Letty may not be winning any morality awards, but even she has limits. Unable to go to the police, Letty sets out to derail the job, putting herself on a collision course with the killer that entangles the two of them in a dangerous, seductive relationship."
I really enjoy Mr. Crouch's writing style. Fast paced. Tight and well written. And above all else, page-turning. As a writer, I feel that it is our job to entertain our readers and take them on a journey. This book definitely delivers.
I also highly recommend his Wayward Pines series. Talk about a binge-read. Truly amazing writing. Hope you get a chance to check out his work!

Nightmares in Analog is headed to iTunes & Audible
So I've been working on getting Nightmares in Analog turned into an audio book. I partnered up with a professional narrator, Aaron Shedlock, who also happens to be a Tampa native, and he's been hard at work on NIA since May.
Just heard from him this week, and was excited to find out that he has completed the final version of the audio book.
Started listening through the first few chapters. It's surreal hearing your words come to life, I'm really enjoying how Aaron adjusts his tone & inflection to match the characters.
In this audio book, I also partnered with a Hollywood film composer, Eric Tannery, who has worked on the soundtrack for films like 13 Hours & Warcraft. Several of his tracks were included at the story intros to kick off each work.
More details soon as to the final release date. Can't wait for you guys to hear it!
