Hey Friends,
So I was up late last night, not writing, but reading. Completely hooked by Blake Crouch's thriller, Good Behavior. It's the story of anti-hero and thief, Letty Dobesh. Here's the synopsis pulled from Amazon:
"Fresh out of prison and fighting to keep afloat, Letty Dobesh returns to her old tricks burglarizing suites at a luxury hotel. While on the job, she overhears a man hiring a hit man to kill his wife. Letty may not be winning any morality awards, but even she has limits. Unable to go to the police, Letty sets out to derail the job, putting herself on a collision course with the killer that entangles the two of them in a dangerous, seductive relationship."
I really enjoy Mr. Crouch's writing style. Fast paced. Tight and well written. And above all else, page-turning. As a writer, I feel that it is our job to entertain our readers and take them on a journey. This book definitely delivers.
I also highly recommend his Wayward Pines series. Talk about a binge-read. Truly amazing writing. Hope you get a chance to check out his work!
