| This book has two storylines alternating back and forth. The parts about the building and running of the World's Fair was fabulous. The parts about the serial killer, I didn't read at all. I didn't come to this book for true crime. I've got enough ni ...more | |

| This is a solid sci-fi war story. Really cool concept of humans using animal DNA to fight back against insect-like invaders. The action started early and kept up throughout. If you're into sci-fi adventure, I'd recommend this. ...more | |

| This is my third book by Jeri Massi, and they continue to be solid. This one brings us into the lives of school kids, with a good mystery, some Christian undertones, and even a bit of nostalgic fun. Recommended. | |

| I'm not sure how it happened, but this is the 3rd novel I've read about strange discoveries on African mountains. I guess I've got a type, eh? Regardless, I enjoyed this one. Very good adventure, good sense of danger, good mystery, and good writing. ...more | |

| This is my second Massi book and I've liked both. They feel like 1950s pulp science fiction in the very best way. I like the world Massi's created and the cast of characters who move through it. I look forward to more in this series. ...more | |

I'll be lying on my deathbed and still refusing to lower my rating on this. Though I still loved Todd and Viola this time through, I found myself thinking mostly about the Mayor. He is a villain who loves violence but doesn't like to get his " Read more of this review » |

| This is fun thriller that feels like a blast from the past. It's sorta like a 50's-era comic book, sorta like an old pulp detective novel, and sorta like an old-timey cliff hanger action movie. I guess the key word in all those comparisons is 'old,' ...more | |
