Starting Again!

We Fish and Chipped the Islandand only gained 10 pounds!
This story began quite a few years ago. Was never posted, but it was a good one so I have revived it.
We like fish and chips. Not really any nutrition involved. Just all that fat and flavor! We judge the slaw that usually accompanies the meal and there have been a few flops and some great combinations.
Today's post is a tasting in Victoria. Do you really want me to name places? Okay I will. We were at a hotel not downtown and in between two main arteries! Ha pun (because we were there on a heart Dr appointment) intended. We were staying at the Comfort Inn http://comfortvictoria.ca/on Blanshard and we needed food. We weren’t particularly interested in the Denny’s down the block mostly because it was raining. We opted for the little bar upstairs, Red’s Roadhouse Restaurant http://www.reddsroadhouse.com/,  thinking it will be a tasty choice for a change. We soon discovered that the special that evening was ... Fish and Chips! I am not sure what kind of fish was offered, didn’t think to ask, but we ordered a serving. The meal that was presented to us was the usual, fish fried, with potato chips and a small serving of slaw. This was not greasy as some meals have been and it was crunchy till the end. The fries were also crispy which in my book is a plus. The slaw was the usual so nothing new here. We enjoyed this serving and will recommend it to others.

Look Behind

As you listen to the sounds from your speakers, do you ever think who's looking from behind?

No faces

We'll now that I know what I've got, I don't see faces anywhere! Isn't that silly? Maybe  too busy writing new poetry for my pocket poem library?

#Pareidolia is fun

#Pareidolia is fun! You don't know you " have" it until someone points out to you your new obsession. After awhile a person looks forward to what new faces or inspirations will pop into view.

#Pareidolia

Apparently pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon involving vague and random stimulus being perceived as significant. ( from Wikipedia) with the word coming from the Greek words "para" in this context meaning something faulty, wrong, instead of and the noun "eidolon" (image shape form). Or in short... Pareidolia is a type of app phenom, seeing patterns in random data !Wow, wonder what I'll #see next?
