Harry is the author of Moving to Charlotte: The Un-Tourist Guide, Born Creative: Free Your Mind, Free Yourself, Get Glad: Your Practical Guide To A Happier Life, and The Dad's Book Of Jokes.

He loves wine, bacon and his family, not necessarily in that order.

The 1976 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill spent six years as a radio and newspaper journalist, covering cops and courts, hosting a daily call-in talk show, serving as managing editor and performing color commentator duties for UNCC basketball.

He moved into PR and advertising, and started his own agency in 2001. In 2016 he left the marketing world, returning to his first love: writing. He is working on new books, ghostwriting, and freelancing.
