No two novels could be more different. Renee’s first work is Until the Darkness Goes, a taughtly written story of a Bronx bred Jewish woman, Molly Morris, who flees the east coast and the orthopedic resident who wants to marry her, and lands in southern California.
Polar opposite is Renee’s new novel and heroine, Adelyn Crawford a southern girl who ends up having her fair share of adventure., But the story goes back to 1918 when 16-year-old Adelyn is seduced by one brother, Innis, and marries Garnett, the other. It’s a Great Gatsby fling in Paris and New York City when flappers ruled hemlines that kept creeping up. But this eerie fantasy begins with a romp on a hammock with first brother, who is now dead.
