I was always fascinated by the idea of being ageless and inhumanly appealing in an intimidating way. Though as I grew up, I noticed how vamps get all the limelight; they are the rich, the influential, the eminent class among supernaturals. While wolves were tagged as the less looked upon canine barers; poor and striving. I tried creating a bunch of wolves I would love to hunt with on full moons! I want to break the custom of writing wolf stories in only erotica; I want YA readers to go as berserk about them as they are about the laid back vamps(I am still not anti-vampires)! (less)

I really get to write what I imagine or feel about a person/situation/plot which do rounds in my mind at odd hours. I have nobody to answer or explain myself to; I expect my work to speak for itself. What's more, it makes you feel intellectual and gives access to so many wonderful readers across the globe.(less)

“She learnt how to give up on dreams she wasn't destined to dream about, and yet have the courage to breathe for a new beginning. She learnt the art of knowing love as something to be understood with mind before understanding with heart. She learnt to deal with people walking in and out of her life; she learnt it all and she learnt it well.”
Kanika Bankhad, Beloved Luna

“Its true it’s considered important to be attractive and giving and intelligent and popular, but it is even more important to let all this go to give others a chance. Because that’s what makes you who you are, that’s what makes you ‘beautiful’.”
Kanika Bankhad, Beloved Luna

“The different shades of crowd, buildings and density amazed her. Hailing from a much less populated town, New York appeared like a fire cracker, a show stopper; as if mocking those who didn’t believe in carnivals, forcing people who lived on streets to dream of the sky rises and simply finding excuses to celebrate and shriek! This was New York, the home to beggars and billionaires, to actors and artisans, to werewolves and humans…”
Kanika Bankhad, Beloved Treaty

“I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.”
Thomas Jefferson

“Don't stay in bed, unless you can make money in bed.”
George Burns

“When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called a Religion.”
Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values

She learnt the art of knowing love as something to be understood with mind before understanding with heart. She learnt to deal with people walking in and out of her life; she learnt it all and she learnt it well.”
