There’s been so much rain over the past two months, the little yellow flowers have taken over the playground in Elephant Butte Lake State Park. I could read this series just for the dialog and for the humor. The plot, while intricate, is like a trellis on which the characters, the dialog, and the humorous mini-scenes within major scenes can grow. The plot felt like a satire on solving a myst ...more |
