The maple in the side yard, showing up to the leaf color party late as usual, but always arriving with more fire than should be allowed.

Just hanging out with Chloe on her birthday, painting miniatures for D&D and Daggerheart. I don’t play Warhammer, but I love the Citadel minis, especially the Sylvaneth. (This is Druanti The Arch-Revenant from #Warhammer AoS). Imagine trudging through a dimly lit forest and this dude steps into your path. #daggerheart #dnd5e

I ordered whole bean coffee from Many Worlds Tavern, a couple different kinds, including “Yatamon Spirits”, which will go nicely with with a game of Obojima - Tales from the Tall Grass https://obojima.com It’s like playing Dungeons & Dragons in a Studio Ghibli inspired world. Very Spirited Away. #DnD5e #DungeonsandDragons https://manyworldstavern.com

Painting some scatter terrain–stuff your D&D players will want to rummage through, crates, locked chests, sacks of… who knows? Your characters are just going to have to open them up and see. This is one of those theater of the mind vs physical terrain and minis differences. In TOM you don’t know what you don’t see–and you’ll ask the GM what’s in the room. With minis, what you see is what you get, and if the room is empty–and unless you tell the party explicitly–the room is empty. So, now players are going to see one of these in the corner of the room and go “I’m going to dig through this pile of stuff, see if there’s anything valuable.”
