Patricia Goodsell is an American novelist, screenwriter, and poet. She's also been known to jot down a song or two - they're all very silly and usually invented around 3am. Despite being a die-hard California girl, she also has a special fondness for Oregon.

Her two cats manage her work hours ensuring her life as well balanced between her latest novel and plenty of exercise chasing mouse toys, giving belly rubs, and feeding them seven times a day.

Patricia uses her creative superpowers to craft novels packed with edge-of-your-seat action complete with cliffhangers that will make you curse her name! Her books include the newly released apocalyptic tale Scavengers, a delightful children's book of a Dandelion's battle with a cat and a lawn mower

I have appeared in several movies actually! All of them memorable and wonderful experiences!
I always like to tell the stories of how I got to almost run Jackie Chan over in Rush Hour 3, where I was hired as a stunt driver. How Leonardo DiCaprio made me weep during his courtroom monologue in J Edgar, which was also where I discovered I would happily work for Clint Eastwood every day for the rest of my life! He is unbelievably awesome!!! And I never miss a chance when Tom Hanks name comes up in conversation to tell people that he is genuinely the nicest guy I have ever had the pleasure of working with, as I did in Angels and Demons. And probably my favorite on-set story is when I was in an award show scene at the end of Tropic Thunder. That was when Robert Downey Jr had first returned to making movies again and his name was whispered on everyone’s lips. But when he walked out on stage, tall and Blonde, he was unrecognizable and hard as I tried, I could not remember ever seeing him before. He noticed me watching him as he slowly rocked back and forth on his heels, his hands clasped lightly behind his back, then leaning forward to speak into the microphone he gave a devilish grin and said, “I know it’s hard not to stare.” and he finished it off with a wink. I almost died. Even blonde, he is sooo gorgeous!
I have a million of these stories it seems, but those are my favorites!

Character Chemistry

Confession: A good author often leaks into their characters. It's what makes them intriguing and relatable.
It's the reason why Stephenie Meyer's Bella is originally from Phoenix Arizona.
Why JK Rowling's Harry Potter was named after one of her own neighbors and even shares her birthday.
And it's why Alexandra Chase hates road trips!
