After more than twenty-five years as a communications professional marketing software and other technology, I have now written two crime/murder mysteries: The Incident and Sanctuary. I began my career as a publicist in the General Electric News Bureau. I am a long time participant in the Westport Writers Workshop studying Advanced Fiction. My website and blog cover writing, marketing, leadership and related topics. Born and raised in Connecticut, I graduated from Fairfield University with a BA in English and live in Redding, CT with my family.

The Cliffs by J. Courtney Sullivan
"I struggled with this one. When I started, I thought it might be a story about a family and their drama. Then a mystery was introduced and I thought it might concentrate on that. But the story did neither.

A good one, both writing and story. Unusual protagonist with tons of personal issues and moral dilemmas — all of which feed a rather extraordinary plot.

The Hallmarked Man is not a favorite, but I applaud its complex story and cast of characters (even though I had to go back often to determine who was who) and how Strike and Robin’s personal story moved forward. Not an easy task following the

"I absolutely *loved* The Hallmarked Man. It’s not quite my favourite in the series (for me
