When the story is forced, it just won't feel right, thus adding to the overall frustration. If I can't get a scene to come together, or don't know where to go next, I take a break. Hit the mountains, go for a walk through an open meadow, anything that will allow my mind to let go. Once my mind is free, it's like opening the flood gates, and the creativity flows back in.(less)

If I really dislike a character, I can make them meet a grisly end. If I want the guy to get the girl, I can arrange it.
It's the perfect outlet for all those conversations I have in my head, the ones where I say, "I wish I would've said..." or "I wish I would've done..." (less)
