After immigrating to the United States from his native Turkey, Serhat Pala -- together with his wife and business partner Zeynep Ilgaz -- has started numerous successful businesses such as TestCountry, Confirm BioSciences and LiveWellTesting.

Even more importantly, he has also started unsuccessful companies. He knows what does and doesn’t work. Each of his business successes and challenges has provided him with valuable lessons that he loves to share with future entrepreneurs.

An avid dog-lover, Pala lives in sunny San Diego with his beautiful wife and two sons, Kenan and Arden. Currently, he is working with his family on Kids4Community, which is a nonprofit that encourages community volunteering and social entrepreneurship among kids.
