The first draft of Death Curse, part two is done. Now the hard work of edit. Had to share, I'm pretty stoked about it.

Here's a thought, while Death Curse Part Two gets worked on: would you like to interview one of the characters? We could set up a Facebook thread, get the character in front of a keyboard and you can Q&A. Now, certainly there'd be some chaos - Facebook doesn't allow for moderation. But sometimes chaos can be fun.

Yes, I've been working on part 2 of Death Curse. It's coming along. We are about 30 chapters in and moving along.

There's other things. Yeah, there's some works happening that aren't "Wielder" related.

More than a few. We'll see what happens first.

There's a new short out for those of you that aren't on "The Wielder's Place" at facebook. It's a short focusing on Silithes. There will most likely be other shorts on the summonlings, most likely in order of vote on "The Wielder's Place."

After all they're the ones that voted for Silithes to have her own story first.

If you haven't stopped by the Facebook page for the series, "The Wielder's Place" perhaps you should consider it. Some time ago, we put a vote out for which of Arthur's group would get their own short story.

Silithes won - by a small margin.

Anyway, that short turned into a Novella and is coming out soon. I'll be releasing a link on the "Wielder's Place" where you can pick it up for free for a short while.

Free's good, right? Anyway it's just another way to say thanks for taking time with the tales.

Well feeling a little bit better. Almost two weeks without writing a word. Just took a half hour and pounded out 1,400 of 'em. I think I might even get to keep most of them too.

But you know, none of them has anything to do with The Wielder Series. Yeah, something else is afoot.

Book three, part one of The Wielder: Death Curse is now available.

Received the revisions from the editor, so back to work. Though, I haven't exactly taken a break.

Been working on the next Wielder installment and have about 10 chapters to show for it. Also, stemming from the votes on the Wielder Facebook page, I've started on a short of Silithes.

Oh, man. After a couple rounds of edit/rewrite I've released the manuscript for The Wielder: Death Curse (part one) to the editor.

Part of me is excited, part of me is anticipating death by red pen. We'll see.

On other news, I've released a freebie. It's available only on Smashwords at this time. It's a chapter that was edited out of Sworn Vengeance.

Not that it was bad, there was just a flow issue. Anyway it's good enough I'm putting it out there as a stand-alone. Think of it like the "deleted scenes" on a DVD. You can find it here:

Not much else to report except that words are flowing into Death Curse part two and struggling to create an appropriate cover image for part one.
