There is no such thing as writer's block; there is only not writing. Once you begin writing, the writer's block will go away. The goal for each day should not be to write something wonderful. The goal should merely be to write. You will be amazed how wonderful that writing will become. We have had some hysterical and poignant poetry and prose written to the myth of writer's block.(less)

When you laugh out loud at the things your characters say because you had no idea that they would say that, then your writing has gone to a deeper level. The second best thing about writing is the community of writers that you will find when you write. Their generosity towards one another and their support of your work will astound you. (less)
