Ann was born and raised in Michigan on the Northeast side of, what was then a suburb of Detroit where she attended John Marshall Elementary School, Nolan Middle School, and Pershing High School. I also plan to read, "Dragon Teeth" by Michael Crichton when it's released on May 23rd. Another one on my list is, "The Whistler" by John Grisham. Alright, so I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Every so often I run across a story that is intriguing and heart-felt and honest and beautifully captures the human condition. One is, "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte, and the other is, "From the Corner of His Eye" by Dean Koontz. I reread them both at least once a year.
"From the Corner of His Eye" holds a special place in my heart because a few years ago it was rereleased on my Birthday, May 29th, and Dean Koontz sent me a signed hard cover and paperback copy when I wrote him to inquire about how to submit my copy for him to sign. I, in turn, promptly wrote him again to tell him that he is now the coolest author on the planet!(less)

An image of a man sitting in his office in front of a computer chatting with his cyber date online.

The day I settled on a title for my book, was finally satisfied with the blurb that would go on the back jacket, I was still musing over the perfect tagline. It would have to be something riveting enough to grab my attention at a glance, but not too over the top.

I needed it to be believable!

So, I did what I always do. I leaned back in my chair prepared to sit quietly. Dream a little. Maybe
