Why they in particular stick out is for the way that their circumstances threw them together despite all of the odds being stacked against a relationship. Each was struggling with their inner demons and the simple needs of survival, torn by the paranormal forces threatening to pull apart the fragile fabric of a fledgling new society. King wrote their parts in an endearing way while managing to avoid sappiness.(less)

Monday Morning Musings

This morning, as I sip my coffee, and stare at the computer screen, I realize that there is always the same question in the status box on FB.
'What have you been up to?'
What is it that my computer suspects I've been up to? Why does it want to know?
I turn the tables on it, and ask it, 'What have YOU been up to?'
Darned if it didn't mock me, by repeating it as a statement on my feed.
