About this author by the author— I am lucky to live within the rugged, majestic mountains of the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado along with the tumbleweeds, pinyon, and pronghorn. I have one dog and three cats that enjoy the wilds of the high country with me, and also, a husband…somewhere…snow skiing I believe.

I grew up on a registered Angus ranch in Cleburne, Texas, riding my horse Trixie, and living in a haunted house, my second haunted house to inhabit in fact. It was these hauntings that nurtured my passion for monsters, aliens, ghosts, the supernatural, and all things that go-bump-in-the-night-for-no-reason.
