Lisa Marie Stephenson calls the North Georgia mountains home, where the rugged landscape fuels her suspenseful storytelling.

A proud Jack-of-all-trades, Lisa has worked as a paralegal, bookkeeper, executive assistant and—perhaps most fondly—chicken farmer. This is not to say the run of the mill chicken houses, but a small hobby farm with rare breeds who laid eggs as colorful as they were. Her adventures include section-hiking the Appalachian Trail, running marathons, and hunting in the wild Cohutta Wilderness, yet nothing compares to the joy and light brought by her four wonderful children.
