I translate into French the works of classical romanian authors, whose books have hardly ever been translated before. They are to be published in the "littérature roumaine traduite" series. Some of my performed translations are : La Femme chocolat by Gib I. Mihăescu, Cœurs cicatrisés by Max Blecher, Le Collectionneur de sons by Anton Holban, Au loin un jour / Fernab ein Tag by Otto Alscher, Brocs en stock by Călin Torsan, Monostiches and Le Bouclier de Minerve by Ion Pillat, Europolis by Jean Bart, 1871 by Valeriu Marcu, Hadji Tudose by Barbu Delavrancea, and Dans les Bucegi by Nestor Urechia. ...more

Mais, incontestablemen ...more "

Gabrielle Danoux and 174 other people liked Valeriu Gherghel's review of Învățare:
Învățare by Tara Westover
Gabrielle Danoux and 414 other people liked Vit Babenco's review of Candide:
Candide by Voltaire
"All is for the best in the best of all possible worlds…
And following this sententious wisdom Candide embarks on the quest of his life.
Never was anything so gallant, so well accoutred, so brilliant, and so finely disposed as the two armies. The trumpe

Și piatra mă va-îmbrățișa by Vasile Tudor
“Degeaba

degeaba crezi că poezia are suflet
că-n ea mai sângerează
bolnavul de cuvânt

degeaba crezi că-n invizibil
atomii din silabe
stârnesc şi viaţă şi mormânt

prea mare este golul
ce numai gălăgia
îl înalţă

(p. 138)”

“Mașina de scris

țăcăne mașina de scris
printre lucruri inutile
