Hi Tina. How are you? I am currently finishing Anon Chekhov short stories, The Story of The unknown Man; The dual, My Life-Which touched me deeply. I read a lot of Russian literature, but, have also read everyone of Franz Kafka's. I have all his short stories, which are great, if you want them I can send them to you. I do not know what you like to read, but, Kafka is the master of literature.
Hello Tina. Welcome as a Goodreads friend. I am currently reading a very English book, The Cazalet Chronicles about a wealthy family starting in 1938. It is written by Elizabeth Jane Howard and is a saga of six books and finishes in the 1960s. It's a bit tedious in parts but is very well observed with lots of period detail. It maps a way of life that has all but disappeared in England.
