Pete Huryk is from New Jersey. He studied Spanish at Salisbury University in Maryland. Soccer has been one of his passions since he met Ricky Davis of the NY Cosmos at a family party in the 1980's. After thirty years as a player and a coach, he put many of his experiences and thoughts onto the printed page in FILL YOUR BOOTS. Although it is intended for high school age soccer players, the book expands to life issues that are relevant to all athletes of varying ages.
