Péter Simon is a teacher of English as a foreign language and the creator of www.grammaring.com. He has been involved in the training of EFL teachers at the University of Szeged in Hungary, where he has offered various courses ranging from General English to English Grammar, Phonetics, Listening Skills, Reading Skills and Presentation Skills to FCE and CPE Exam Preparation. I was born and raised in Hungary, and my native language is Hungarian. Although I have spent some time both in the US and the UK, I have been mainly exposed to British English throughout my life, and that is also what I teach as an EFL teacher.

One of the greatest challenges for me as a teacher of English is getting students to let go of their mother tongue and rely on the English they already have.
