Post # 2! Trying to make this a more regular thing. How's everyone enjoying the beginning of summer? It's my absolute favorite season. As a kid, I'd spend as much time outside as possible on the slip-in-slide, riding my bike, swimming in the lake and drinking lemonade in the backyard. I truly love summer!

I'm about 45,000 words into the first draft of my second novel. It's moving along well and I think readers will find it a fun read in a very different format than Imperfect Paradise (but with the same focus on characters and relationships). Hawaii also makes an appearance. This time Maui!

We're trying to make it to our next milestone of 500 likes! We post about readings, items related to Hawaii, literature and inform people of the latest happenings with the book. I recorded a radio interview last week with Education Now and will let you all know when it airs.

Hello Goodreaders! This is my very first blog post. My novel Imperfect Paradise has been out for a few months now and I'm so pleased at the responses it's been getting.

I wanted to let you all know that I'm using up my last 4 free days in the kindle store starting today and running through Sunday. It's a great time to stock up on summer reading material and my book is said to be "required vacation reading."

I look forward to writing and sharing more with this community.
