Mini Biography
I grew up in Southern Louisiana and I studied Philosophy and Literature. After I graduated from college I became a Benedictine monk. I left the monastery after six years and became a High School English teacher in New Orleans - my first full-time job! In the intervening years, I've taught both high school and undergraduate students and I've tutored all ages. Currently, I live in New York City. As a writer, I've written education, philosophy, literature, and general non-fiction copy. I've worked as an educator at the New York Public Library, a Yeshiva teacher in Williamsburg, a Humanities teacher

Theater Review: Every Brilliant Thing (Hudson Theatre, Broadway)

On Saturday afternoon, I caught Daniel Radcliffe in Every Brilliant Thing—a one-person play (with a whole lot of “you might get drafted” audience participation) now in previews at the Hudson Theatre. I happened to be at the 2:00 p.m. matinee on February 21, 2026, which was the first preview performance (and, yes, there was also a performance later that night).
