Hi Kate,I got this great book and I keep thinking you might like it. It's called Rooms of Their Own - Where Great Writers Write (by Alex Johnson)
It's filled with 1-2 page stories about various, famous writers and all the quirky things they had to have when writing, plus where they wrote.
I have loved reading about all of their different spaces and how particular they were about their chairs, desks, etc.
I think you would enjoy it.
Kate wrote: "Hi Debbie, Aw, thank you. I miss all of you, too. I felt like it was time to withdraw for a long time and focus on the boys, home, and writing. I may be back. I do miss it sometimes."
I understand. When I was homeschooling my two boys, I was in the same position. I had a blog back then, but cut out most other things that took my time away from home or teaching. It's a full time job.
If anything, I hope you'll consider putting your old videos back up so we can watch and listen. You were who I would watch while putting my make up on every morning :) or when cooking dinner. You just always had very practical things to talk about. I've yet to find another account like yours, honestly. Everyone is so over-produced and I just want to listen to a real mom, talking about real life.
But, I would always end up buying whatever books you would recommend, so at least your absence has been good on the budget :)
haha :)
Hi Debbie, Aw, thank you. I miss all of you, too. I felt like it was time to withdraw for a long time and focus on the boys, home, and writing. I may be back. I do miss it sometimes.
Hi Kate, you may not see this, but in case you do, you are missed on Youtube! I'm about to start reading your books again. I miss your practical wisdom and inspiration that helps me stay motivated around the house. I hope you're having a great winter with the boys. I imagine you're busy with all kinds of fun stuff of your own. Take care and I hope to see you again, sharing your daily life with us.
