If I understand correctly, Dig Deeper introduces Sal Smith; then ... what? Before Others Die series of 2? is there a First Draft and High Tide (which also feature S.Smith?)??? if there is, where do they fit into the lineup?

You are correct - Dig Deeper is the first Sal Smith book, followed by Before Others Die. Part 2 of that will be coming out in a few months. Part 2 was originally going to be called High Tide - but will now be called Redemption.
