Even though it is fun, that doesn't mean that procrastination doesn't win out most times, it does! But when I sit down and write and get what has been rattling inside my mind for who knows how long, there really is no better feeling. Serious. Sometimes when I write, I'm just the observer as the words come gushing out.
I live for that moment.(less)

Seriously. You're NEVER gonna be "ready" so just start. Journal if you have to, heck, write about your last meal you just ate but for goodness sake, get your hands moving and start writing. Something. Anything. Don't worry if it's not perfect. Like any thing in the world you need to practice. so get to it. Reading about writing isn't going to create writing. But if you write, even if it's about writing, you are now a lot closer than you were before.(less)

New Book, Out Now!

Hey guys, I just published my second novel called The Devil's Blessing.

First of all, it's a WWII book so it can be very dark. Not for the squeamish. Also, it's very intimate, not a big war story at all. More of a personal story of what a few people go through.

Anyway, it's available now and I hope you enjoy it!

Took tons of research and hours of work, but I am very proud of the finished product.

Tony’s Recent Updates

A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

“Everything was politics, and politics was ideology, and ideology came down to personal prejudices rather than the quest for truth.”

“It is good that war is so terrible, else we should grow too fond of it.”

Josh Waitzkin
“The learning principle is to plunge into the detailed mystery of the micro in order to understand what makes the macro tick. Our obstacle is that we live in an attention-deficit culture. We are bombarded with more and more information on television, radio, cell phones, video games, the Internet. The constant supply of stimulus has the potential to turn us into addicts, always hungering for something new and prefabricated to keep us entertained. When nothing exciting is going on, we might get bored, distracted, separated from the moment. So we look for new entertainment, surf channels, flip through magazines. If caught in these rhythms, we are like tiny current-bound surface fish, floating along a two-dimensional world without any sense for the gorgeous abyss below. When these societally induced tendencies translate into the learning process, they have devastating effect.”
Josh Waitzkin, The Art of Learning: An Inner Journey to Optimal Performance

“I have never understood how people can blithely disregard the damage they do by following their hearts. Who was it said that following your heart is a good thing? It is pure egotism, a selfishness to conquer all.”
Paula Hawkins, The Girl on the Train

“I am not afraid of being unloved. But I am terrified of never learning to love. There,”
